What we collect, why we hold it, who else can see it, and how to have it deleted.
Last updated — September 20, 2026
This page is a starting draft. It describes how we intend to operate, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer.
What we collect
To fulfil an order: your name, email address, shipping address and the contents of the order. If you create an account, we also hold a hashed version of your password — never the password itself. If you subscribe to the mailing list, we hold your email address, the language you chose, and the date and IP address of your consent, because Canadian anti-spam law requires us to be able to prove it.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card number. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages. We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.
Who processes it on our behalf
Stripe (payments), Neon (database hosting) and Vercel (website hosting). Each holds data only to provide its service to us. Add your email provider to this list once transactional email is switched on.
Cookies
The site sets two cookies. One keeps you signed in, and exists only after you sign in. One records the language you chose, so a return visit opens in the same language. Neither is used for advertising or tracking across sites.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us and we will answer within 30 days. Where the law requires us to keep records of a completed sale, we will say so and explain for how long.

This section still needs a named privacy officer and a stated retention period for each category of data. Both are required before this page can be considered complete.
